Scaffold has now been dismantled to this unique structure hidden in the back garden of a private residence in Southeast London. The unsympathetic cementitious repairs and severe fracturing at high level were addressed by carrying out lime mortar repairs and gravity grouting to fill any voids.
The rubble masonry is constructed of Iron Stone which our Contract Manager, Paul, correctly identified and sourced for any replacement areas.
The owners are now free to enjoy the spectacular views across London from their own little piece of architectural history in their back garden.
