SECL has begun the roof replacement work on this magnificent Grade II* stone building designed by George Gilbert Scott. It is believed that some design elements of Pippbrook House were incorporated into his most notable work at St Pancras. The project involves designing and installing a large temporary roof and access scaffolding, replacing the deteriorating slate roofs, performing structural timber repairs, rebuilding the stone chimneys, and repairing the parapet walls and windows.
