St Mary’s Church, Harrow-on-the-Hill, sits at the top of one of London’s highest points and rises 50m above ground. In this unique project Stone Edge Conservation was tasked with replacing the entire lead covered spire with new code 7 & 8 lead. Works also included structural repairs to the main spire timber structure, refurbishment of the cross and weather vane and masonry repairs to the tower.
A commemorative plaque was gifted by SECL to recognise the work of the incumbent churchwardens.
